AfterShip Package Tracker brings delivery updates from different couriers into one place. It is suited to people who regularly order items online and want to check several parcels without opening each carrier’s website or app. Add a tracking number, and the app can identify the carrier from the number format. Barcode scanning and copy-and-paste entry are also supported.
The app supports tracking for more than 700 carriers worldwide, including familiar services such as DHL, UPS, FedEx, USPS and DPD. This makes it useful when a household receives parcels from different shops or couriers. Tracking links can be shared, and the app can import some orders from services including Amazon, Etsy and Walmart. Gmail syncing or forwarding is also listed as an option for bringing shipment details together.
AfterShip can notify you when a shipment changes status. Updates may cover events such as the courier receiving the shipping request, the parcel moving through transit, an attempted delivery, an exception or a completed delivery. The app is focused on shipment progress rather than shopping itself, so it helps most when you already have orders on the way and want a single view of their movement.
Those figures show a widely used tracking app with a large body of user feedback. As with any delivery tracker, the detail available can depend on the carrier and the information attached to the tracking number.
